The New Rolex Oyster Perpetual Collection: Candy-Coloured Watches to Match Personalities

Rolex has been challenging their own inventions since the time of their emergence in the world of watches. They have been experimenting with new technologies, innovative designs, and unparalleled craftsmanship solely to stay ahead of the competition for years.

Their proprietary inventions are historically significant and effortlessly summarize everything that makes the Rolex timepiece the Horography powerhouse that it is in the present era.

Oyster Perpetual:

In recent years, the most common model, the  'Oyster Perpetual' made its debut. The watch is waterproof hence the name 'Oyster.' The word 'Perpetual' refers to the continually winding rotor inside each Rolex timepiece.

The Oyster Perpetual Rolex timepiece signifies simplicity. They only serve the core purpose of telling time.

The New Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lineup:

They have introduced new Stella-dial models with different colours and sizes for people who prefer simplicity at its best. The collection comes in 5 different size dials; 28mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm & 41mm.

The Dial Specifications:

Within all sizes of the new Oyster Perpetual collection, there are delicate variances worth mentioning. The 36mm & 41mm variants are excellent mirror images of each other, with the painted squares located alongside every hour marker.

The Oyster Perpetual 34mm features Roman numerals on the dial, a unique feature for this size watch.

The 31mm comes in basically the same dial configuration as the 36mm & 41mm but varies in two separate ways. Firstly, there are no painted square markings. At the same time, this watch has bold hash marks at each five-minute interval. Secondly, you will find single baton markers on the dial.

The 28mm Oyster Perpetual model brings an entirely different look to the selection with no hash marks at the hour marker positions. While 31mm, 36mm, & 41mm models all have the Rolex coronet logo at six o'clock on the dial. The 28mm Oyster Perpetual Rolex has two Rolex coronets adjoining the words "Swiss Made", which is a little callback to vintage models.

The Bracelet Upgradation:

The new Oyster Perpetual collection now has a thoroughly brushed Oystersteel bracelet equipped with Rolex's patented Easylink extension system. Now the Easylink enables quick adjustment of the bracelet with a 5mm increase.

The Choice of Colours:

The 28mm and 34mm dials come in blue, black, rose pink, and silver. You can find 31mm, 36mm and 41mm variants in deep yellow, coral red, turquoise blue and lush green. The candy-pink colour is only available for 31mm and 36mm variants.
